Reflection on the Water

Hurtful words lashed out in anger often reveal truth to a certain degree. People always say that if emotions are involved in the creation of words or actions, they cannot be taken as the truth because they are created in haste and without serious thinking. Well, after enduring many hits myself, I see the possibility that they might be true and not until recently that I know that they are 100% true. When I watched The Ellen Show the other day, she was talking to Lea Michele and how she handled the loss of Cory. She also said that when a person's heart has a million cracks, it lets the light in. Being hurt or wounded or having any negative feeling has the empowerment to bring upon something greater if it is being handled properly. I know that at times, our ears, brain and heart can only take so much of vile words. But at what what point do we stop them and give it back to them? The answer is never. I can tell you that I'm always the bigger person. What I get is not necessarily what I will give back. I believe in karma. I know that as humans, we have to uphold peace and kindness in our lives so that we live a meaningful life. We need to love more than we can hate. No, I don't give back. If they can find it in their heart somewhere to look into what they have done and to find the courage to seek forgiveness, you will win. Let the opposite force do its magic. I've lost the battle once and I don't wish to lose again. This time, I'll be the bigger person and forever I shall. God sees the truth in everything. People know that I've given love more than I've received it. Lord Buddha, thank you for blessing me with my beloved family and loyal friends in times of happiness and sadness. Amitofo.

Eyes and Heart

One can have eyes and not have sight, but one cannot have a heart and be blind.

I Will Win

I'm never really into self-help books. Last year, I bought 'The Power' by Rhonda Byrne just because it is famous. So I began reading and the concept of 'The Law of Attraction' intrigues me. I've learned a lot of things about life from this book. Everything in life is about balance and to receive, you will first have to give. I'm now an avid fan of Big Sweep tickets because buying random numbers from Sports Toto, Magnum and Da Ma Cai don't seem to click with me; considering the fact that I might have many numbers which are special to me to buy, and I don't think I'll have sufficient money to bet three or four times a week. So, how I got started was quite interesting. We went for lunch at a chinese hawker restaurant one day and an Indian man approached us with a stack of Big Sweep tickets in his hands. Of course, at that time, I wasn't even interested in it because I don't know how to play it like a pro! LOL. I shook my head and he walked away. Then I made a remark that he was smelly. SS said that we should buy because maybe his BO was luck in disguise. So he went around the tables and came to us again. This time, we bought a few tickets. And out of those few, we got one matching number and that winning costs RM3, which is the price of a ticket. I was ecstatic. As soon as I got home, I did my research and homework on how to ace this game. Last draw, I won RM50! I'm so looking forward for more! Having read this book as well, I'm now a believer that I can attract what I want by giving love and hope. So my crazy friend and I printed out mock cheques from the website and I wrote the amount of jackpot that I will win. I believe, I will win one day. Now, I'll start listing how I will spend or maybe invest my money. Want to know how much is the winning? RM15,500,000.00. *Ta-daaa*

Travelling

My aim this year is to travel to other countries like Vietnam (don't know why), Cambodia (though I already went there last year) and perhaps Singapore too. So it's confirmed that I'll be going to Singapore at the end of this month, with SS and other TSKA members for a collaboration training with SKA. How cool is that? To go on a 90% sponsored trip and with your partner too! So everything will be taken care of: accommodation and travelling. What's left is just shopping and food. Ah, heaven. So we also visited MATTA fair over the weekend and to make the trip worthwhile, we wanted to get something at least. So went to almost every hall and couldn't decide on anything. Wanted to take the USS package so badly but we've decided to put it on hold first. So we bought a 2D1N package to The Lost World of Tambun and two tickets to Legoland. So altogether, we spent about RM4xx only. I guess there's 2 already. What's next? =D

Busy Bunny

I've lost touch with my writing session for a while but I'm back now! February has been the shortest month of the year and due to that, I was engaged with a lot of things until now. Every task seems endless. Nevertheless, things are taking a turn for the better. Okay, my latest obsession is dwarf rabbits. They are adorably small and super duper cute! I've decided to get one maybe next month or so. In the mean time, I'm doing some reading and some research on how to take care of them LOL. Should have looked for books on rabbits at BBW but somehow my hands could only get hold of books on dogs. Alright, I've got work to do. Happy reading.

The Exclusive Package to Avoid

My body felt battered after being sick for almost a month now. It all started after I came back from Genting. God knows what kind of bug entered my body and when. So I got the most exclusive package anyone could ever get - sore throat, flu, cough and slight fever. For the first few weeks, I can barely speak. So I had to cancel all my classes. A week! No replacement for them though... gave them enough activities to cover up the lecture hours LOL. So went to see the doctor a few times and was given three courses of antibiotics within two months! I guess my tummy must be pretty upset now because all the good bacteria are gone. I'm slowly recovering though. A friend found a home-made remedy for relieving cough. After taking it for 4 days now, my cough is slowly subsiding. Here's the remedy that I would love to share with you. You would need an orange, a knife, a bowl, a pinch of salt, a fork and a steamer. Before you start, soak the orange in salted water for 15 minutes to remove any residue or pesticide. First, cut the top part of the orange off. Sprinkle some salt on the top of the other part of the orange and use a fork to poke the flesh. You may squeeze the juice out after poking it. Pour the juice into a bowl and place the whole orange into the bowl. So you have an orange sitting on its own 'pee' LOL. That's how it looks like. Steam the orange for 15 minutes over slow heat. Then you may drink the 'pee'. It tastes slightly salty and bitter. You may not get a quarter of a cup of the orange juice. The amount is very little. So since it doesn't involve any chemicals, you may give it a try. I guess it works for me. What a way to start off the year. I've been restraining myself from taking spicy food and fried stuff for what feels like forever. However, today, I decided to eat McDonald's breakfast meal with a friend. No fried stuff but still guilty though. Hopefully it doesn't ruin my recovery process.

Happy New Year!

Oh, this is the first blog of 2013 =) Happy new year, everyone. There's no special feelings for a new year except gratitude for being given a chance by God to live on and to witness the coming of new year(s). Hopefully this will be a more fruitful year, to be able to complete and achieve what I wasn't able to achieve the year before. Most importantly, hopefully I can land my ass in a more productive and motivating place so I will have the mood and determination to work harder for more money hehehe. And since CNY is coming soon, I guess I have to start giving angpow already. Phew~~~ that means lesser for my family members! Whatever... as long as everyone is happy. Have a prosperous year ahead. May us all be blesses with good health, wealth, happiness, success and luck all the time. HUAT ar!!
