Once there was a happy family living in the woods. Papa Bear, Mama Bear, Big Bro Bear, Second Bro Bear and Little Bear. The Bear family was the happiest family you can ever imagine. They weren't rich but they're complacent. But God always has plans for everyone in the world. One fine day, Papa Bear went out to hunt for food for his family. As winter was approaching, he needed to make sure that they had enough food to last the winter. It has been hours and there wasn't even a rat in sight! "What a day!", thought Papa Bear. Just as he was turning to go back to his house, he caught a glimpse of something moving. To the left! To the right! Aha! It was a big fat deer. Papa Bear was all ready to strike. 1...2...and off he charged towards the deer. It was like a hare and turtle race. The deer was too fast for Papa Bear to catch up to. And suddenly, 'Bang!' Papa Bear's vision blurred and soon was all black. A hunter shot Papa Bear in the chest and like God just snapped his fingers, he died.
Mama Bear was devastated by Papa Bear's death. It was a really tough period for all of them. Mama Bear knew that she would have to raise the cubs alone. She said to God, "You have taken my loved one away from me, you can't take my cubs away from me."
As years passed by, the cubs have grown into big bears and all were out to live on their own with their families except Little Bear. "Son, I'm not getting any younger. You will have to find a companion in life to take care of you when I'm gone", said Mama Bear. "Mom, I'm not leaving you. I shall take care of you for the rest of my life". That was what Little Bear replied.
One day, while Little Bear was hunting in the woods, he came across an injured sow. He took pity on her and nursed her back to health. As if it was God's plan, they fell in love and soon became a couple. Cutey Bear then lived with Little Bear and Mama Bear because her house was burnt down in a forest fire. Mama Bear was very happy at first, for Little Bear has found someone whom he loved and would take care of him when she's gone.
"You have taken my loved one away from me, you can't take my cubs away from me." Oh wait. That was what she told God years ago when Papa Bear died. Would Cutey Bear steal Little Bear away from her? We shall see. As time went by, she can't help feeling that Cutey Bear would steal Little Bear away from her. Why was she feling that way? Was it because of her hormone? Was it because of menopause? LOL. Well, ask her. Mama Bear then began acting really ridiculously when she was with Cutey Bear, just so that she could embarass her. She would interrupt conversations between the love birds just so she could stop Cutey Bear from talking to Little Bear. Or she would talk louder so that Little Bear couldn't hear what Cutey Bear was saying. What a devil.
Cutey Bear was angry because of how Mama Bear treated her. She won't feel sad because she don't deserve to be treated this way. All she can do is to pray to God so that Mama Bear would stop acting like a demented hag who tried so hard to get Little Bear's attention and love. Maybe God could help wave his magic wand and nudge this into Mama Bear's head: Little Bear's love towards Cutey Bear is pure love, passion for one another. And Little Bear's love towards Mama Bear is a mother and son love.
It is universal that children will one day have to leave their parents to have their own families. However, children should not forget their responsibility towards their parents. And parents should not interfere too much in their children's families. Can a bird learn how to fly without falling onto the floor many times? Will they have stronger determination each time they fall?
God save the tortured ones out there TT
